Anti-Static Film
Unwinding and wrapping ordinary film generates a static charge. On most loads that is harmless; around electronic assemblies it is a genuine failure risk, because an electrostatic discharge can damage a component without leaving any visible sign. Anti-static film is formulated to suppress that charge build-up, making it the appropriate specification wherever sensitive electronics are packed, stored or shipped.
