VCI Film

VCI — volatile corrosion inhibitor — film protects metal components from corrosion without any liquid or grease being applied to the part. The inhibitor is carried within the film itself and forms a protective molecular layer on the enclosed metal surface, which means parts arrive ready to use and do not need to be degreased before assembly. That matters most for machined components, fasteners and fabricated steel that would otherwise need a coating stripped off on arrival.
